Roseville Historical Society PRESENTS

Monday, May 19, 7:00 p.m. at Roseville Fire Station #1 at Woodhill and Lexington just north of County Road C. 

Speaker Frank Rog

 Frank Rog began his career with the Roseville Park and Recreation in July of 1960. At that time Roseville was an emerging suburb with no parks. In competition with developers Roseville issued bonds to acquire land for parks. 

January 2004 received a grant from the Roseville Community Fund for equipment to create and perform presentations for local schools and community organizations. If you are interested in having one for performed for your organization contact mikedwolf@comcast.net . We currently have one on early Rosetown history and schools and one on the Roseville Heritage Trail.

Winter 2003 Received a grant from the Best Buy corporation to go towards the purchase of a new computer, scanner and printer.

We are currently looking for any old photo's dealing with Roseville/Rosetown history for our visual database scanning project. If you have any you think we may be interested in please e-mail us at mikedwolf@comcast.net

Revised Heritage Trail Booklet & Maps now available for purchase ($2.00) at Roseville city hall, Roseville Park & Rec department at Fairview community center located at 1910 County Road B, West, Roseville MN or the Roseville Visitors Center at Har Mar. You may also order one by mail, send $3.50 (includes cost of mailing) and a note requesting the Heritage Trail Booklet, to the Roseville Historical Society at 1910 County Road B, West, Roseville MN 55113, be sure to include your name and address.
